Food We Stock
We offer dog, cat and small animal grooming. Our resident groomer has over 10 years experience in the industry
and we work with you to get your pet the look you are after.
We offer pet and breed standard grooming – Bath & Fluff, Bath & Tidy, Full Groom and Hand Strip. The price is
dependent on the
breed and size of your pet. We also do walk-in nail trimming.
We offer a brush out or groom service for cats, providing they are used to it. This does take 2 people so the
price is higher than dog grooming.
Small Animal Grooming
We offer a brush and tidy service for small animals. Again, we do walk-in nail trimming.
Please contact us for more information and prices.
Full Terms and Conditions
Dogs with matted coats will need extra attention. Matts left in a dog’s coat will only grow tighter and cause serious discomfort. We will not cause serious or undue stress to your pet by continually de-matting your pet for you. Matts can be very difficult to remove and may required the dog/s to be clipped very short all over, dramatically changing their appearance. We would never clip your dog short without prior consent. However, if you do not agree to a short clip we have the right to refuse the appointment as we simply WILL NOT de-matt your pet for vanity purposes and cause undue discomfort.
When necessary, removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions due to warts, moles or skin folds trapped in the matts. After effects of matt removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions. Prevention is the best defence against matting by scheduling regular grooming appointments and daily brushing.
There will be an extra charge when grooming heavily matted dogs due to longer allocated times slots, more product needed on the coat and blunting of our equipment. The amount of matting will determine the extra cost. We will require you to sign a disclaimer for us removing any matts from your dog/s coat. This will be provided at the time of the appointment.
No Shows and Late Drop Offs
We would like to remind everyone the detrimental effect that consistent no shows have on us as a small by-appointment based business.
ALL no shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee of your grooming appointment cost before we rebook you.
As well as no shows we also have the right to refuse your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late. We organise our diary to best ensure that each pet is blocked out for the correct amount of time with appropriate staff. If you are more than 15 minutes last it will affect the running of our working day and we will have no choice to refuse you. Please understand that although 15 minutes may not sound a lot, it really does impact our day running smoothly.
The grooming appointment must be paid for in full before we will reschedule. We understand that there are emergency situations, and we will always work with you, but not on a continued basis. Please be respectful of our time.
Late Pick Up
Please be on time to collect your dog/s as there is limited space within our salon and it is unfair to keep a dog with us longer than necessary. We will always give you an approximate length of time for the groom and will call you when they are ready for collection. If you have plans or are working, please consider this when booking in.
If you are going to be late collecting for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. There may be an additional fee to the final cost if the dog/s are with us for an extensive period of time.
If you suspect your dog/s has fleas or ticks, prompt and thorough action on YOUR park is required. Please do not enter the salon with your pet if you know fleas are present. Please call us to discuss rescheduling and treatment should you require it. If fleas or ticks are found during your groom, your dog/s will automatically receive a flea bath to kill the parasites and an extra charge will be applied to the cost of your regular grooming cost to cover the additional products used and the cost of fumigating the salon post groom to prevent transmission.
If ticks are found during the groom, they will be removed as safely as possible, and you will be notified of this. Aftercare of the area is your responsibility.
Aggressive or Dangerous Pets
Owners MUST inform us if your dog/s bite, has bitten or is aggressive to people, other animals or specific grooming procedures. Muzzles may be used if necessary. Muzzling will not harm your pet and protects both the pet and groomer. We reserve the right to refuse/stop services for such dog/s at any time before or during the grooming process and, in some cases, charge an aggressive dog fee in addition t the regular grooming fee. This additional fee will depend on the individual dog and what is required from us to safely groom your pet.
If your dog/s is known to have been previously aggressive or cause injury and you do not disclose this to us upon booking of your appointment, we reserve the right to refuse the groom upon arrival. It is crucial we know prior to your appointment to avoid injury and ensure correct time and staff are allocated.
